This photographic series, created using film between 2020 and 2024, captures moments of life on the shores of the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, spanning Tunisia, Egypt, France, and Spain. Through the grain of the film, each image seeks to capture the gestures and movements of men, women, and children at the edge of the sea. These photographs aim to reveal the intimacy of the encounter between the human being and the vast ocean, a space where the horizon invites reflection. Yet, beyond the water, one question persists: do these human beings, despite their different cultural and social backgrounds, truly resemble each other, or do their differences become more visible at the edge of the sea?
